Key shift Click on "Key" or the "#"/"b" symbol displayed below "Key" to shift the key of your song/session by -5, -4, -3, ..., +4, +5, +6 semitones. A small box pops up where you can select the semitone shift: ![]() You can switch back to the original key at any time by clicking on "0". Here you can also choose whether you want to use the sharp or flat notation for your session. Changes made in this window will affect all chords on all chord pages. If you would like to transpose only some parts of your music, use the "Transpose..." function (see below). Transpose Independently of "Key Shift", you can transpose the whole session, the actual page, or selected chords. Choose "Transpose..." from the "Edit" menu to open the Transpose dialog: ![]() You can also access this window by right-clicking on a chord (in which case the "Selected chords" switch will be activated automatically), so you can transpose a group of chords more conveniently. |
