New

Initializes the workspace (session).


Open...

Opens a file dialog where you can locate and open saved session files. ChordPulse session files have the extension "cps".

Also, you can click on the label "Session" or the name of the actual session below it (on the main black display) to access your files quickly:




Recent files...

Here you can find a list of the most recently used 20 files so you can quickly and conveniently access your sessions.


Save

This saves changes made to the session since you last saved. Please note that all settings located in the "Options" menu are program level settings and so they are not saved with your session.


Save As...

Use this command to save the actual session to a new file.


Export To MIDI File...

Here you can export your music to a standard MIDI file (format 0 or 1) with optional silence and precount before the music. MIDI export ignores master volume, mute, tuning, repeat mode, and loop settings.




Export Chords To Text File...

Exports the chord progression of the actual session to a text file with the following formatting options:




Session Notes...

In this place you may add notes related to the actual session. This text is saved in your session file.


Session File Links...

You may store up to 5 links to files in your ChordPulse session:



If a file link is specified, a "File" button will appear above the session name:



This button lets you open the file with a single click.


Global Notes...

General notes and reminders can be stored in this place.


Exit

Exits the application.
